“Clairière des Framboisiers” Print (A5-A3)
“Clairière des Framboisiers” was a name given by my brother, for whom the painting was created. It brings together his and his partner’s favourite animals, gathered in a woodland feast of the things they love most. This painting was completed during Christmas of 2024 and was painting along side my family. I enjoyed slipping in tiny, personal touches as I worked—a hidden piece of chocolate for my nephew, a third plate of eggs for our family dog. Somewhere in the glow of that holiday moment, I discovered how deeply I enjoy painting light. A fascination that’s since woven itself into all of my recent work.
