Le déjeuner de Bagatelle

This mural was completed in the summer of 2022, after less than a year as a full time mural artist. It's an hommage to the work of Renoir and other impressionist artists as the home it's painted next to is situated on the Island of the Impressionists in Chatou, France and was built in that period. It features 3 different optical illusions, with false stones and bricks to match the facade of the house on its left aswell as a perspective which creates the illusion of a deeper garden. This completely transformed the exterior space of the house which prior to that felt closed off. The wall is roughly 6x3.5m and features 24 characters interacting over lunch during France's 'Belle Époque' in the late 19th century. Painted over 8 weeks.
