Train Carriage

One of my all time favourite murals, despite its unusual location! This optical illusion, inspired by 19th century Orient Express trains, really makes you travel back in time as soon as you step into the toilet. On the right, is a view of an old train carriage and on the left, the velvet curtains painted directly on the window frame really make it feel as though you could shut them. At the back of the room is a cupboard featuring an old collection of books aswell as the reflection of the existing window onto the glass, making it feel more life life.

This is the first mural I painted in The Home with Many Murals . At night, there is a real light that shines through the window onto the one I painted, making it once again feel as real as ever!
